Salpauselkä Bike & Boat self-guided tour

This excursion combines wonderful country and lake scenery, cycling and boat travel!

Join us on a bike trip from Lahti to Vääksy. The self-guided tour starts from Kitetirri Outdoors in Salpausselkä Park along the beautiful shores of Vesijärvi towards Camping Messilä, goes through the village of Hollola Kirkonkylä, the western edge of Vesijärvi to Hillilä and Kurhila, and ends in sunny Vääksy. In Vääksy, there is time for self-discovery and a lunch break.

The trip is suitable for cyclists who want to enjoy cycling and the wonderful scenery in a like-minded company, with refreshments at the rest stops. Also pack swimming suits and a towel, you want to take a dip in Vesijärvi or Päijänne.

The route varies from flat to rolling countryside. The route is mainly an asphalted road.

Level of difficulty: For bikers with basic fitness. At a moderate speed of about 15 km/h, you will arrive in Vääksy in time for lunch. Pack water and weatherproof equipment in your backpack, take good care of the sun protection. Take a small bite with you, if you're still hungry.

We have free parking space for our customers in Salpausselkä Park, Hämeenlinnantie 59 - welcome!

Distance: 50 km by bike

Break points: Camping Messilä, Hollola church village kiosk, Laitiala swimming beach and Hillilä - and Vääksy

The ship leaves to Lahti at 15:20 from the Vääksy channel and transports you and the bikes to the port of Lahti. Catering is also available on board.

Price: ONLY €85 Includes bike rental + person's boat ticket + bike transport by boat + bike usage instructions + paper map and route instructions + 0.3l water bottle + helmet + lock + goggles

For bikes, you can choose a Cube electric bike with very rolling tires or Kona Rove NRB is gravel bike with out electrick assist.
